Steam locomotive set to steam through Lancashire this Wednesday

45407 The Lancashire Fusilier on The Jacobite Steam Train

LMS Black 5 No. 45407 The Fusilier is set to pass through this Wednesday (10th April 2024).

Note: 45407 is taking back the stock brought to the East Lancs Railway for their Legends of Steam Gala

Departing the East Lancashire Railway at 11:26, the locomotive and stock will pass through Castleton (11:38), (11:57), Burnley Manchester Road (12:15), Accrington (12:28), Blackburn (12:41), Preston (Lancs) (13:08), (13:30), and at 13:57.

    1. We dont have a photo of the loco on the route it will be taking, so we either use a picture of the loco elsewhere, or we use a picture of somewhere on the route but of a different loco, neither is perfect

      1. OK, understandable, maybe a brief note to caption the photo something like “this is 45407 on another tour” , all photos should be captioned, in my opinion.
