Steam locomotive 34067 Tangmere to pass through Yorkshire this Saturday

34067 Tangmere heads The Northern Belle through Oxenholme Lake District

34067 Tangmere will haul the luxury Northern Belle train this Saturday, 6th April.

The train will depart with diesel locomotives initially before Tangmere takes over at .

Departing York at 07:37, the train will pass through Leeds (08:04), Wakefield Kirkgate (08:33), (09:46), Preston (Lancs) (10:13) and Carnforth at 10:41.

Tangmere is added here and will depart at 11:25. The locomotive will then pass through North Lakes at 12:13 before arriving into Carlisle at 12:34.

After time in Carlisle, Tangmere will depart at 14:24 and will pass through Appleby (15:14), Garsdale (15:58), Hellifield (16:34), Clitheroe (17:32), (18:04) and Preston (Lancs) at 18:31.

The diesels then replace Tangmere at Preston and will head back to York via (19:54), Wakefield Kirkgate (21:00), Leeds (21:34), Church Fenton (22:01) and York at 22:26.

  1. Come on RA employ some geographically aware copy writers. Tangmere goes nowhere near Yorkshire in this tour. – just Lancashire and Cumbria. Didn’t think the site would be trying clickbait!
