The Glyn Valley Tramway are holding a special open weekend this weekend (8th and 9th July 2023), to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of the line.
Rebuilding of the tramway has begun, with the first rails arriving in 2022, and the trust have decided to hold a special open weekend to let visitors see progress.
As part of open weekend is demonstrations with wagons coming from the Talyllyn Railway and these will be horse-drawn throughout the weekend.
Classic cars and refreshments will join a special miniature railway that will be running.
A special heritage bus shuttle will run between Pontfadog (for the waiting room) and Glyn Ceiriog (for the museum)
The Open Days will run from 10 am and 4 pm on both days and is a great way to see progress on this lovely little line.
