A Hampshire Miniature Railway has welcomed a new steam locomotive to its fleet, in the form of 2-6-0 Peter the Private.
The Royal Victoria Railway, in Hampshire, has seen Peter the Private take its first movements under its own steam on the 4th March 2017.
This is the first locomotive to be built specifically for the Royal Victoria Railway and has taken 10 years to build the steam locomotive and takes the number of locomotives at the RVR up to three, and will join No. 4 and No. 3 at the railway.
The railway is open from 11am to 4:30pm every weekend, with an adult costing £1.75 and a child costing £1.25.
