The Isle of Wight Steam Railway has been gifted a former Ryde Pier Tram by the Isle of Wight Council.
The tram is the latest addition to be added to the railways £1.2 million Train Story Visitor Centre.
The tram was built in 1911 by Messrs Pollard & Sons, who were a Carriage and Motor Car builder in Ryde.
Bernard Pratt, who is a supporter of the railway bought the body of the tram for just £2. He got the tram restored by the team at the Isle of Wight College. When the restoration was complete, he moved the tram and put it on display at the Cothy Bottom Heritage Centre, where it later moved to Newport Quay and the Isle of Wight Bus Museum. In 2011, it returned to Cothy Bottom and was stored out of public view until moving to Haven street in March 2017.
