Visitors to Amberley Museum on 17th and 18th June can enjoy the thrill and buzz of the emergency services with a wonderful atmosphere for the museum’s Emergency Services and Father’s Day Weekend.

Throughout the weekend, a wide collection of vintage and modern emergency vehicles will be on display, and there will be demonstrations from the West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

As Sunday, 18th June Father’s Day, entry to Amberley Museum for Dads on that day is FREE!

During the weekend, a 1918 Bagnell steam locomotive Peter will be running on the narrow-gauge railway, whilst visitors can also take a vintage bus journey around the Museum site and see a wide variety of craft and trade demonstrations.

In the Limeburner’s restaurant, lunches will be available along with a local Sussex beverage.

Tickets for this event must be pre-booked online at https://www.amberleymuseum.co.uk, and anyone wanting to book ‘Dad’ a free ticket should add a complimentary ticket to their basket.

Amberley Museum is in the South Downs National Park, with over 20 exhibition areas displaying a range of attractions including vintage vehicles, communications, electrical goods, crafts and nature trails. Visitors can also enjoy rides on a narrow-gauge railway and historic buses.

The museum was founded in 1978 and is next to Amberley railway station near Arundel in West Sussex.

Other than special events, the museum is open to the public throughout the year from Wednesday to Sunday 10 am to 4:30 pm. Hot and cold food is available at the Limeburners Café, and dogs are welcome on a lead.
