With the summer holidays just around the corner, why not have some pirate-style fun with Jolly Roger’s Swashbucklin’ Train Ride at the Spa Valley? The event will provide a fantastic day out for all the family with slapstick comedy alongside thrills and spills a-plenty by Radtastic Theatre performed the extremely popular ‘Little Red Riding Hood’s Easter Train Ride’ earlier this year.
Jolly Roger is a loveable pirate and will be warning attendees before boarding their train at Tunbridge Wells West Station of the terrible treasure thief Captain Crook. The friendly pirate’s ship has been wrecked, and he is in need of a crew – could that help be you? Jolly Roger will train his new recruits before getting on the steam train and, once onboard, will start a search for treasure! During the journey, Jolly Roger will hand out activity packs and colouring pencils to his newly recruited crew members.
On arriving at Eridge station, passengers will head over to the platform in order to find the lost treasure with the big mystery being – who will get to it first – Jolly Roger or the dastardly Captain Crook?
With the treasure found, the crew can head back on the train to Tunbridge Wells where Jolly Roger will dish out rewards to his loyal crew.
