Steam locomotive No.35018 British India Line will be back in steam on the mainline and will be passing through Preston and Crewe on Thursday, 4th July 2019.
The locomotive is on a light engine movement on Thursday, heading from Carnforth to Southall.
The locomotive will depart Carnforth 10:41, and will pass through Lancaster (10:51), Preston (11:30), Leyland (11:47), Wigan North Western (12:00), Warrington Bank Quay (12:14), Crewe (13:43), Stafford (15:28), Tamworth (15:59), Nuneaton (16:17), Rugby (17:17), Northampton (17:44), Bletchley (18:07), Hemel Hempstead (18:38), Watford Junction (18:49), Acton Main Line (19:52), Ealing Broadway (20:08), and Southall WCRC depot at 20:30.

I know its all a matter of opinion but those rebuilt Southern Pacific’s are amongst the best looking steam engines ever made. If something looks right, it is right!
Steam loco 35018 is a Merchant Navy class NOT West Country Class.
It’s a Merchant Navy Class, not a West Country Class. Shoot the editor……..
