No Northern trains to operate this Saturday due to ASLEF strike action

Passengers are being warned by rail operator that no trains will operate on Saturday 26th November due to strike action being carried out by train driver’s union, .

Major disruption is expected throughout the day on the entire network and Northern is advising passengers not to travel.

Tricia Williams, chief operating officer at Northern, said: “We’re sorry again for the significant disruption and inconvenience this action by ASLEF will cause our customers.

“We all want to see an end to this dispute and hope that a resolution can be found so that we can avoid more disruptive strikes in the future.”
