Steam locomotive 34052 Lord Dowding will be out on the mainline and be completing test runs in preparation for its first tour after repair work.

Thursday 7th February 2019 will see the locomotive operating on the mainline between Crewe and Chester.
The test runs will be operated by Locomotive Services TOC Ltd, who are connected to Icons of Steam – who own 34052.
Running twice on Thursday, 34052 will operate via Beeston Castle between Crewe and Chester. Timings can be found below for timings for each day:
Thursday 7th February 2019
- 5D41 0937 Crewe H.S. to Chester
- 5K42 1115 Chester to Crewe
- 5D43 1254 Crewe to Chester
- 5K44 1407 Chester to Crewe H.S.

The locomotive is 34046 braunton
Yes thats right, however, 34046 Braunton is still in the guise of 34052 Lord Dowding 🙂
