Amberley Museum in West Sussex to host Fantastic Fungi event this Autumn half term

Why not make the most of the Autumn Half term with Amberley Museum’s  Fantastic Fungi event and enjoy a self-led trail around the site?

The event will run from Saturday the 22nd to Sunday the 23rd of October and from Wednesday the 26th to Sunday the 30th of October.

Hands-on activities for children will also be available from Wednesday the 26th to Friday the 28th of October from 11am to 3pm and will see salt dough modelling of your favourite ‘shroom whilst finding out if it is a helpful or harmful mushroom. Families will also be able to see the varying development stages of cultivated mushrooms.

Amberley is the perfect place to visit during the autumn half term and will see nostalgic bus and train rides around the site, nature walks as well as ‘Fantastic Fungi’ fun all part of admission.

Amberley Museum can be found in the heart of the South Downs National Park and features more than 20 exhibit areas displaying all kinds of wonderful things from vintage vehicles to electrical goods. The Limeburners cafe can also be found on-site serving delicious hot and cold food.

Dogs are welcome on a lead.
