UPDATE: Tour now hauled throughout by 6233 Duchess of Sutherland

Steam locomotive 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will be back in steam on the mainline, and will be in Didcot and Bristol on Wednesday 14th September 2022.

The locomotive is on a special railtour with 35028 hauling a Belmond British Pullman railtour on Wednesday.

The steam locomotive will depart London Victoria at 08:49 and will pass through Clapham Junction (09:01), Bracknell (09:56), Reading (10:30), Didcot Parkway (10:46), Swindon (11:35), Bath Spa (12:14) and Bristol Temple Meads at 12:45.

After a few hours in Bristol, the tour will depart at 16:36 and will pass through Bath Spa (16:53), Didcot Parkway (18:48), Reading (19:10), Ascot (19:46), Brentford (20:28), Clapham Junction (20:44) and London Victoria (21:08).
