Either 70000 Britannia or 34046 Braunton is set to haul part of The English Riviera Express this Saturday, 16th July 2022.

The tour starts from Cardiff Central with a diesel locomotive. Departing Cardiff Central at 06:30 and will pass through Newport (06:50), Severn Tunnel Junction (07:13), Patchway (07:30), Filton Abbey Wood (07:37), Bath Spa (08:02), Bradford-on-Avon (08:21),  Westbury (08:39), Taunton (09:34), and Norton Fitzwarren at 10:10.

Here, the steam locomotive takes over the train. Departing Norton Fitzwarren at 10:59, the train will continue via Tiverton Parkway (11:15), Exeter St Davids (11:35), Dawlish Warren (11:52), Paignton (12:32) and Kingswear at 13:15.

After time in Kingswear, the train will depart at 16:35 and will pass through Paignton (17:21), Newton Abbot (17:41), Dawlish (17:51), Exeter St Davids (18:17), Norton Fitzwarren (18:52 – diesel hauled from here Taunton), Taunton (19:19), Castle Cary (19:49), Westbury (20:14), Bradford-on-Avon (20:31), Bath Spa (20:58), Patchway (21:21), Severn Tunnel Junction (21:35), Newport (21:57) and Cardiff Central at 22:15.
