The North Norfolk Railway has announced that steam locomotive 70013 Oliver Cromwell will no longer be attending their rescheduled Autumn Steam Gala.

It was agreed originally that 70013 would be attending between the 12th and 14th October 2018 between the NNR and the National Railway Museum as well as the 5305 Locomotive Association (70013 custodians).

However, it has now been announced that the transport logistics to bring it to the North Norfolk Railway will be impossible thanks to prior bookings at the Great Central Railway.

The North Norfolk Railway will still be operating an intensive timetable with seven steam locomotives from the NNR home fleet.
