The Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways have announced today that unfortunately that their Caernarfon Booking Office has been broken into overnight.

This has resulted in the booking office being shut today (9th August 2018) after the breaking in over the night of 8th & 9th August 2018.

Extensive damage has been done to the electrics and IT network as well as internal fixtures and fittings.

No cash was taken from the premises, however, the place was ransacked and items of stock from the shop were taken.

There is currently no access to the disabled toilet facilities. The nearest toilets are located near to the Castle.

The booking office will reopen tomorrow, however, they will have limited functionality due to the damage to the IT network.

We are really sad to hear this news, and we hope the FF&WHR gets back up and running soon!
