Where to see steam locomotive 6233 Duchess of Sutherland in London and York this Saturday

Steam locomotive 6233 Duchess of Sutherland is on the mainline this Saturday and will visit London and Peterborough with a tour to York.

The locomotive is on The Valentines White Rose this Saturday, 12th February 2022.

Departing London Kings Cross at 07:23 and will pass through (07:30), Potters Bar (07:58), Stevenage (08:18), Biggleswade (08:34), Huntingdon (08:54), Peterborough (09:29), (10:25), Retford (11:39), Doncaster (11:58) and at 12:24.

Here, a the train reverses, with 6233 Duchess of Sutherland on the rear of the train. Departing Selby at 12:34, the train will then head to York, arriving at 13:03.

After a break in York, 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will depart at 16:37 and will pass throguh Doncaster (17:12), Gainsborough Lea Road (17:41), Saxilby (17:54), Central (18:17), (19:00), Peterborough Eastfield Junction (6233 Duchess of Sutherland is taken off the train here), Peterborough (20:22), Huntingdon (20:54), Stevenage (21:27), Alexandra Palace (22:00) and London Kings Cross at 22:18.
