As 2021 comes to an end, it has been a busy year for the Bluebell based 73082 Camelot Locomotive Society – BR Standard Class 5 No. 73082 has returned from an intermediate overhaul, and has put smiles on visitors’ faces since returning.
However, funds for the 73082 Camelot Locomotive Society are dwindling, and these funds need to be replenished.
With the Bluebell Railway suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic, material costs and contractors for the overhaul were funded by the society, with £35,000 spent, the Society’s reserves have depleted.
Earlier this year, the Society launched a new appeal to keep Camelot steaming into the future – so any donation, however big or small, will be gratefully received by the society.
