Would love to go on this but unfortunately cannot afford it, should be a cracking day especially steam all the way. I am keeping a lookout for when they do a loaded mainline test run of Sir Nigel, being an A4 fan (unfortunately Union of South Africa my favourite). I’m hoping they might go to Minehead to take in the WSR with that (be a great trip to take the SVR Juniors and apprentices on), don’t know how you get tickets for that. Been a member of the SVR since I was a child so know how valuable it is to bring the next generation of steam enthusiasts through.
