Train operating company, Chiltern Railways, is encouraging its passengers that haven’t been invited to the upcoming Royal Wedding to explore the attractions along their route.
Moments from the terminus of London Marylebone is Madame Tussauds where you will be convinced that your standing alongside Meghan, Harry and the rest of the Royal family.
Along the line is Princes Risborough, adjacent to which is the Prime Minister’s country home, Chequers, which used to be the home of the Black Prince, son of Edward III. Whilst it isn’t open to the public, why not try the Whiteleaf Walk?
Meanwhile, at Royal Leamington Spa, which is served by Chiltern Railways, provides a destination for any monarch, why not pick up a meal fit for a King at Aubrey Allen who, by Royal Appointment, is a butcher to the Queen.
Chiltern’s trains stop at Warwick, home to a magnificent castle.
What did the officials say?
Alan Riley, Chiltern’s King of Customer Service said:
“Chiltern Railways’ route is lucky to be packed with attractions with a Royal connection. Why not avoid the crowds at Windsor and enjoy some of them this weekend?”
