Steam locomotive No. 60163 ‘Tornado’ will be in Leeds and Keighley this Tuesday as it heads from York to Edinburgh on a railtour.
The early morning railtour departs Linlithgow at 07:58 behind a diesel locomotive and will pass through Haymarket (08:13), Edinburgh (08:20), Prestonpans (08:43), Dunbar (08:58), Berwick-upon-Tweed (09:22), Alnmouth (09:46), Newcastle (10:21), Durham (10:36), Northallerton (11:04), Thirsk (11:12), and arriving into York at 11:45.
After a couple of hours in York, passengers are treated to Tornado on the return trip. Departing York at 14:55, 60163 Tornado will pass through Church Fenton (15:08), Leeds (15:29), Shipley (15:53), Keighley (16:09), Skipton (16:25), Hellifield (16:38), Ribblehead (17:44), Garsdale (17:57), Appleby (18:18), Langwathby (18:31), Carlisle (19:09), Lockerbie (20:16), Haymarket (22:01) and Edinburgh (22:09).
