Now that the planned industrial action on the Underground by members of the RMT and ASLEF unions have been suspended, will resume operating to a normal timetable from tomorrow, Thursday, 7th November.

The two unions had intended to stagger their industrial action on the on different days between Friday, 1st and Saturday, 16th November.

However, last Friday, 1st November, the RMT union announced that the industrial action planned by its members would be suspended.

The union followed suit yesterday, Tuesday, 5th November, with an announcement that the industrial action planned by its members would also be suspended.

Because of the short notice that the planned industrial action has been cancelled, there will be no Chiltern services between London Marylebone and Great Missenden today, Wednesday 6th November, but normal timetabled services will resume running tomorrow, Thursday, 6th November.

For the remainder of today, Chiltern will operate a limited service between Great Missenden, Aylesbury and Aylesbury Vale Parkway, a Chiltern Railways rail replacement bus service will continue to provide a connection between Great Missenden and Amersham, and London Underground Metropolitan Line services will run to and from Amersham.

Although the planned industrial action was on London Underground, Chiltern Railways services would have been affected between London Marylebone and Aylesbury via Amersham because Chiltern Railways trains run on the Metropolitan Line, meaning they would have been disrupted due to the unions’ action.
