On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July, the Spa Valley Railway is hosting its summer steam event.
Tickets for the steam weekend are now available for purchase.
All day rover tickets are a great way to explore the surrounding area of the railway and hop on and off when you want to. Dogs also go free, allowing you to explore together.
The steam event will see GWR Large Prairie 4144 for the first time, courtesy of Didcot Railway Centre.
The rare locomotive will be joined by 125yr old Caledonian Railway No. 828.
Additionally, the dining train will be operating this weekend by Kent Cheese Train on the 14th. The train can be booked in advance on the Spa Valley Railways website costing £35 per person.
Other fares for the weekend include:
- Daytime fares start at £19 for adults, £13 for children and £49 for a family.
- Adult Evening Rover – £15 (Friday and Saturday, valid from 17:00)
- Child Evening Rover £8 (Friday and Saturday, valid from 17:00)
Discounted tickets are also available for those spending more than one day at the event. All tickets for the steam event can be found here on their website.
