Steam locomotive 45596 Bahamas set for Shropshire visit

The has announced that LMS Jubilee No. 45596 Bahamas will be visiting them this September.

45596 Bahamas will visit for the Autumn Steam Gala, held between the 19th and 22nd September.

The Jubilee visits thanks to owning group, the .

Bahamas will visit alongside already announced visitor, 2999 Lady of Legend, and other VIP guest engines that are yet to be announced.

Alongside the visits will be the home fleet, consisting of 4930 ‘Hagley Hall', 13268, 7714 and 75069.

  • David , you know that VT are extremely unlikely to loan a castle to a preserved railway so asking for it is unrealistic.

  • I’m gonna attend the gala now seeing as they’ve got a good lineup planned now. 2999 Lady of Legend and 45596 Bahamas is a good lineup, what we need now is 4079 Pendennis Castle/5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe/7029 Clun Castle and a Carnforth based engine (45627 Sierra Leone “Galara Leone” OR 46115 Scots Guardsman).
