The British Transport Police has reported that an assault took place on a Victoria Line train in the evening of Saturday, 1 June.
At the time of the incident, the train was between Victoria and Brixton.
According to passengers, a man assaulted one passenger, spat on the ground, and made homophobic remarks to those onboard.
When the train reached Victoria, officers from the British Transport Police arrested the man in connection with the allegations.
He has also been accused of assaulting an emergency worker and causing damage to property.
Now the British Transport Police are looking for those who witnessed or were affected by the incident to come forward and provide further information about what happened.

Last month, the British Transport Police also launched an appeal after an attack in Preston, and two months ago the public's help was sought to find the perpetrators of criminal damage at three Kent stations.
As well as dealing with crimes, the force is also currently working to determine the identity of a number of people who have died on the railway but whose identity remains unknown.
