Trainline have partnered up with social media influencer and US Chef Brooklyn Beckham to promote the advantages of rail travel in the UK to future American tourists.

The number of tourists visiting Europe from the United States is ever increasing year on year thanks to a largely favourable current exchange rate between the Euro and the Pound against the American Dollar.

Trainline and Brooklyn have both been quick to target the American tourist to persuade them to take the train as they travel across the continent rather than using planes or hire cars.

Brooklyn is helping the US tourists with the choice of train travel, thanks to his high number of over 16 million social media followers on Instagram.

He has also been promoting the benefits of EU rail travel on main US television channels.

The famous chef has also created several videos and a food guide, which he is sharing with tourists. It shows his recommendations of the best food markets and restaurants across the cities of Europe while also highlighting the best way to travel between them, in a move that’s inspiring the dreams of European rail travel to the American market. The full guide is available to view here.

In addition to this, Brooklyn also has recommendations to the best local and on board snacks, which he has compiled over the years of living in the UK, France, Italy and Spain.

Some of his favourite foods have been added and amended into his own recipes.

“Food and travel are inseparable for me and discovering a destination’s cuisine is one of the most enriching parts of the journey. Teaming up with Trainline, my goal was to create a platform to share the culinary delights of the places that have inspired me and shaped my cooking style, encouraging others to embark on their own flavourful adventure through Europe enjoying the sites, scenes and snacks by train.”
