Part 1 is available by clicking here, but we continue where we left off at , as we see 5820 Big Jim (which is now out of service awaiting an overhaul) approaching the station, passing the brewery in the town.

With Big Jim on its way , we head down to GN Straight, where the line used to split for trains either heading to West and beyond to Oxenhope, or heading to Ingrow East and on to Bradford and Halifax (via Queensbury Junction).

Our plan for this location was to see Taff Vale 85 leading Black 5 No. 45212 back down GN Straight and on to Keighley.

With the spring sunshine gleaming down, and beautiful blue skies all around, it was soon time for 41241 to take its suburban coaches to Oxenhope, seen passing The Globe Inn at the top of Keighley Bank.

Keighley Bank was our next location, with its 1 in 50 gradient, it is a great spot to see locomotives working hard to take their train full of passengers to Oxenhope. 4144 makes a great sound as it takes it mixed train of coaches on another full line run.

Back up to GN Straight next, after seeing 45212 and Taff Vale running around for water. We were here to see 45596 Bahamas heading its train up the valley. The Jubilee is usually seen out on the mainline hauling railtours, so it is always nice to see it ‘back at its home’.

Being an industrial area, freight trains often look at home at the KWVR, and Taff Vale 85 looked right at home as it took a mixed freight train to , being banked by 41241 (which allows the shuttle to run to Damems without having to run around at Damems Junction).

It was then time to rest our legs as we boarded the next train to Haworth. Our locomotives for the train were 5820 Big Jim and 45212, a simply wonderful way to ride up the valley. We pass 45596 Bahamas at Damems Junction, and end this part of the video at Haworth as the pair head to Oxenhope.

Further parts of this Gala will be uploaded in the coming weeks, so be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel to see our latest videos.
