Belvoir Rail has become a member of the Railway Industry Association (RIA), the UK’s national trade association for suppliers to the railway industry.
The Nottingham-based company deals with rolling stock parts and interiors as well as manufactured products, overhauls and repairs, kitting out and assembly services. They work with a number of train operating companies, rolling stock leasing operators, train maintenance firms and manufacturers of railway vehicles.
The RIA was first established in 1875 and is a leading advocate for the UK rail supply community with a membership of more than 350 organisations. Â The RIA plays a leading role in influencing policies, driving innovation and supporting collaboration within the industry. It also serves as a platform for networking, knowledge-sharing and driving advocacy for its members.
Belvoir’s decision to join the RIA came about as part of the company’s strategic commitment to excellence, innovation and partnerships within the rail sector. It is expected that the resources and expertise offered by the RIA will improve Belvoir’s capabilities as well as helping the company to play its part in shaping the future of rail in the UK.
