The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has released details of a new raffle, with a prize being a unique 50th Anniversary Headboard which is placed on the front of locomotive during the celebrations.

Tickets to win the piece of railway history are £5 each and entries are open until the 4th November.

The winner will be drawn on the 5th November and the lucky winner will have the chance to meet Paul ‘Piglet’ Middleton.

Adam Lewis, Supporter Care Co-ordinator at NYMR said, “Every raffle ticket sold, helps the NYMR survive for all to enjoy now and in the future. This is a money can’t buy prize, and it’s fantastic to be opening it up for all to enter. It’s a big celebration this year at the railway, and a big celebration deserves a big competition with a big prize.”
