Greater Anglia is to run a special train from London to Norwich late on Wednesday evening (19 April) for fans returning from the Queen’s Park Rangers v Norwich match.
The 23:12 London Liverpool Street to Norwich service, which will also call at Diss, will operate to ensure those going to the Championship match between the Hoops and the Canaries can get a return train through to Norwich, as overnight pre-planned engineering works are taking place.
Supporters are asked to use this service for their return journey, as the 23.30 from London only runs as far as Ipswich due to essential track maintenance works.
Responses
Greater Anglia themselves should allow some of the Class 720s to operate between London Liverpool Street-Norwich without having the need to use the Class 745/1 “Stansted Express” units. And to operate the Class 720 to Norwich as 10-Car formation.
