With the festive season just around the corner, The Railway Benefit Fund has announced the opening of its Christmas Shop which features a number of railway-themed goods including two new Christmas Card designs alongside its 2023 calendar.
The 2023 calendar has once again been sponsored by TES 2000 and sees an incredible collection of images following this year’s theme ‘Rail Moments in History’.
The calendar features Flying Scotsman, the Journey Shrinker and Mallard and is A4 landscape in size and costs just £8.
The first of the two new Christmas cards sees an original photograph taken on the Railway Benefit Fund’s ‘Royal Charter’ which was a fundraising event in celebration of the Platinum Jubilee.
The card features a breathtaking shot taken by Tony Miles of 70000 Britannia in a snowy setting. The second of the new Christmas cards features a beautiful illustration by Phil Johnson of a Highland Winter Journey depicting a steam train making its way across a snowy viaduct. These special cards are available in packs of 10 and cost £4.50 each.
The Railway Benefit Fund is a charity which is focused on the UK rail industry, aiding current, retired and former rail employees and their families during difficult times. The sale of all goods from the Railway Benefit Fund Christmas Shop will go directly to support the Railway Family this Christmas.
