The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway is plans for a magical Christmas treat with its Santa Special.
Trains will be running from Brockford Station to ‘North Pole Halt’, where each visit to see Santa at his Guards Van will see each child receiving a present.
Both stations as well as the Museum and cafe will be decorated with full Christmas decorations.
When passengers get back from their Santa visit they will be greeted with Christmas crafts, hot drinks, festive finger food and mulled while available to purchase.
On site there will also be a traction engine, a Dutch Street organ and model railway layouts.
Early booking is recommended to get a space on the Santa Special which will have its Great Eastern Railway Victorian four wheeler coaches out for a historical experience.
From the 6th October, tickets will be on sale for the 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th December with 8 trains each day starting from 10:00
Tickets can only be booked in advance with ticket options being a compartment for 2 – 8 people priced at £14.00 per person, minimum 2 passengers – £28.00.
