Hull Trains is advising passengers to plan travel ahead as services will be reduced between Doncaster and London King’s Cross
The rail operator aims to keep passengers on the move where possible during the period of strike action and will be running normal services on either side (Friday 30th Sept and Sunday 2nd Oct) of the industrial action.
Further strike action will take place on Wednesday the 5th of October and Hull Trains are urging customers to check the latest travel information ahead of leaving for their journey as services will be substantially reduced between Hull and London King’s Cross.
Saturday the 8th of October sees more industrial action planned to take place on Saturday the 8th of October and once again will see significant reductions in services between Doncaster and London King’s Cross.
Martijn Gilbert, Hull Trains’ Managing Director, said: “We are doing everything we can to reduce the disruption for our customers on the days when industrial action is being taken by the trade unions. However, I would encourage all passengers to check the most recent travel advice before setting off on journeys as regular timetables will not be in operation on some days.”
