The Romney, Hythe, and Dymchurch Railway are putting on a number of special events for Father’s Day on- Sunday, 19th June.
At New Romney
The Railway’s fifth beer festival will be housed in the New Romney Conservatory. This will be transformed into a space serving an array of locally brewed draught and bottled ales and ciders. Beer from Romney Marsh Brewery beer will be available alongside BEARDspoon Ciders and more. The beer will also open on Saturday, 18th June from 2 pm to 5 pm. Beers, ciders, and other drinks planned to be available include:

Between 11 am and 4 pm dads can drive a train in New Romney Station sidings accessible from Platform 4. This is on a first-come, first-served basis for passengers with travel tickets such as Romney Rovers, and everyone who drives a train will receive a certificate.
Classic rock ‘n’ roll covers band ‘Dr Syn’ will be providing musical entertainment at intervals throughout the day.
The Model Railway Exhibition will be open. This is possibly the largest and certainly the busiest Model Railway in England. Construction started in 1973 and took around five years to complete, first running for the public in May 1978.
At Dungeness
Ales by the Rails will be open, which is an addition to the gardens of the End of the Line Restaurant. Stocking local alcoholic beers and ciders, it provides an opportunity to enjoy a drink and relax whilst looking over the unique panoramic landscape.
