Travelling by train is one of the greenest ways to make a journey, especially over long distances.
Passengers travelling with c2c can find out exactly how environmentally friendly the travel choice is by using their carbon calculator, which was developed by EcoPassenger for the International Railway Union.
An example of how green train travel can be has been demonstrated by comparing a passenger travelling from Southend to Fenchurch Street by train and saving up to 74% in carbon dioxide emissions when compared with the same journey using a diesel car.

c2c should of kept their ticket machines that would of made it much easier for commuters to travel lot easier. And to employ more extra staff at stations where necessary and to combat ticket invaders dodging the ticket barriers and avoiding paying for a train ticket. Especially at some stations that have had lots of trouble with some people not paying for a train ticket.
