Steam Dreams adds extra London Santa Steam Trains due to popular demand

Popular railtour operator, , has announced that they have added extra dates for the Santa Specials due to popular demand.

This December, LNER B1 61306 Mayflower will be taking passengers out of on a series of services, including Santa Specials and evening dining trains.

Tickets went on sale a couple of weeks ago and have proved so popular that Steam Dreams have added an additional date to the Santa Steam Express programme.

The Santa Steam Express will depart Victoria at 09:20, 12:00 and 14:15 on Monday 13th December, Tuesday 14th December, Monday 20th December and Wednesday 22nd December.

Meanwhile, the Christmas Steam Express will depart London Victoria on the same days at 18:40 for those wanting an evening dining experience.

Santa Steam Express tickets start from £35 for Standard Class tickets, £20 for children, up to £55 per adult, £40 per child for First-Class tickets.

Children aged 2 and over will receive a drink, sweet treat and a present from Santa.

Tickets for the dining train start at £139 per person in Premier Dining, and £159 per person in Pullman Dining, Standard Class tickets start at £49.

Chairman of Steam Dreams, David Buck commented; “‘We have been overwhelmed by the level of interest in these new trips and are very much looking forward to our first train on 13th December, the first ever Santa steam train service experience from London. He added: “we very much hope these trips will become part of family Christmas traditions for years to come.’
