Restoration of 7200’s GWR Standard Class 4 boiler will require many new components before it can steam again. This includes the smokebox, tube plate, boiler barrel, throatplate, and backplate.

Both the throatplate and backplate will be produced by South Devon Railway Engineering, with these parts being delivered to HBSS on completion for fitting.
