Mayflower steam locomotive to visit Southampton this Sunday

Steam Locomotive 61306 Mayflower

Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower will be on the mainline again this Saturday, as it hauls a special railtour to Chichester and Southampton.

Departing London Paddington at 08:18, the locomotive will pass through Southall (08:32), Slough (08:55), Maidenhead (09:03), Reading (09:18), Basingstoke (09:44), Winchester (10:24), Eastleigh (10:42), Botley (10:55), Fareham (11:02), Havant (11:26), Bosham (11:35) and Chichester at 11:43.

From Chichester, 61306 Mayflower will head to Southampton via Barnham (13:52), Ford (13:56), Littlehampton (14:02), Ford (14:32), Chichester (14:46), Havant  (14:58), Cosham (15:07), Fareham (15:16), St Denys (15:39) and Southampton at 15:45.

Departing Southampton at 15:50, Mayflower will retrace its steps back to Chichester, passing through St Denys (15:59), Cosham (16:30), Havant (16:42), Emsworth (16:45) and Chichester at 16:58.

With passengers back on who got off at Chichester, Mayflower will begin her return journey. Departing at 18:11, the train will pass through Emsworth (18:20), Havant (18:23), Fratton (18:35), Cosham (18:46), Botley (19:04), Eastleigh (19:14), Winchester (19:34), Basingstoke (19:55), Bramley (20:19), Reading (20:36), Twyford (21:11), Slough (21:26), Southall (21:56) and London Paddington at 22:09.
