Retro Railtours returns to the tracks for the first time since 2019 with a tour of Cumbria in August.
The Retro Cumbrian Coaster II will be operating on Saturday 28th August 2021 from their usual pickup points to the coastal town of Whitehaven.
The railtour will also call at Ravenglass (for the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway) and Workington.
If restrictions remain, food and drink would be served at your seat, and a face mask will be needed when walking through the train.
Rail Operations Group Class 37s have been requested by Retro Railtours to haul this tour, which will feature both standard class and first class. However, at the time of writing, Retro Railtours are having to look into boosting First Class capacity as these seats have now sold out.
The tour will pick up passengers at Chesterfield, Chinley, Stockport, Reddish South, Stalybridge, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Sowerby Bridge, Blackburn and Preston.
Tickets are available through the Retro Railtours website only, with prices at £59 for a child and £79 for an adult.
