The British Transport Police (BTP) has launched an appeal into an incident where two items of machinery were stolen while on a railway embankment in Kent.
Sometime between Friday 21th of May and Monday 24th of May 2021, a wood chipper and small digger were taken.
The £120,000 worth of machinery were working on a project on the Four Oaks Lane in Faversham, Kent. Workers only noticed the machines had disappeared when returning to work on the Monday.
The machines stolen are:
- Bandit 12XPT Woodchipper – orange
- Bobcat E26 Mini Excavator – black and while
Although fitted with tracking devices, these were disabled shortly after being stolen. The data recorded showed them being moved across a nearby field. With a combined value of around £120,000, these a high-value items.
