British Transport Police are investigating an incident at the Stadium of Light Metro Railway Station in Sunderland.
On Wednesday, 21st April, at around 10:30 in the evening, two men walked along with the station platform with an empty shopping trolley and then pushed it onto the railway line.
Then the two men climbed aboard the train before leaving the train at Park Lane Metro Station.
Not long after, a train hit the trolley and made the driver come on to the line to pick it up and take it off the line.
