Steam Dreams has released tickets for its upcoming Christmas tours but has announced some cancellations.

Tours will be hauled by David Buck’s Ex-LNER B1 steam locomotive No. 61306 Mayflower in the south of England.

As part of the tour operator’s plans are the Santa Specials and Christmas Dining Specials, the Santa Specials will leave three times a day on the 14th, 16th, 21st and 23rd December 2020.

Regarding the cancellations of its tours, and the lockdown in England, has told RailAdvent “Following the Government’s latest announcement at the weekend we have made the decision to cancel our forthcoming trips to Bath on the 29th November and 1st December and York on the 6th December.  Whilst it is regretful, the health and safety of our passengers, staff and volunteers are of paramount importance to us and always at the forefront of our minds. All passengers affected by this have all been contacted and offered alternative options.”

David Buck, owner of Steam Dreams, also told RailAdvent “These are challenging times and we are monitoring the situation on a daily basis. On a positive note, we feel there is an appetite for travel moving forward into 2021, and I am delighted to announce that our 2021 Spring programme will be released shortly and hopefully give everyone something to look forward to.”
