Ian Riley’s Ex-LMS Black 5 No. 45407 ‘The Lancashire Fusilier’ will be on the mainline this Tuesday, 7th July 2020.

45407 is moving from the East Lancashire Railway to Carnforth in preparation for the delayed start of ‘The Jacobite’ season in Scotland.

Departing Bury at 10:20, the locomotive and its support coach will pass through Castleton (11:20), Miles Platting (12:23), Manchester Victoria (12:27), Salford Central (12:29), Eccles (12:37), Wigan North Western (13:05), Preston (13:26), Lancaster (13:48), Carnforth (13:57) and Carnforth Steamtown at 14:14.
