The North Norfolk Railway has announced that they have taken the decision to postpone the Spring Steam Gala due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
The railway’s Spring Steam Gala was set to be held between 27th and 29th March 2020.
This decision has been made due to the constantly changing advice from the government.
The North Norfolk Railway is planning to operate a special weekend with the LNER Quad Art set, the BR suburban set and the freight set. Locomotives in use will be LNER B12/3 4-6-0 No 8572, GER Y14 0-6-0 No 564, WD 2-10-0 No 90775 and BR Standard Class 9 2-10-0 No 92203.
The Saturday evening fish and chip train will still run.
The North Norfolk Railway will continue to operate normally on dates shown on the timetable.
Visitors who have already booked will be able to receive a reduction to the normal rover ticket price of £14.00.

The North Norfolk Railway Spring Gala Organising Team said:
We understand that many people who were planning to attend will be disappointed but we feel that this is the responsible approach to minimise risk to our visitors, staff and volunteers.

Very sad 🙁 I do hope that they won’t be affected and losing trade. Sad situation.
