Southern steam locomotive heading for Oxford this Saturday

35028 Clan Line

Steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in London and Oxford on Saturday 15th February 2020.

The Merchant Navy locomotive is on a special railtour tomorrow. 35028 is hauling ‘The Belmond British Pullman’ railtour on Saturday.

The steam locomotive will depart London Victoria at approximately 10:49 am.

The railtour will then leave London Victoria, bound for Oxford Parkway, where it will pass through Imperial Wharf (11:12), Shepherds Bush (11:18), Acton Main Line (11:42), Ealing Broadway (11:45), West Ruislip (12:04), Saunderton (12:30), Princes Risborough (12:35) and Bicester Village (13:10).

35028 will arrive into Oxford Parkway at 13:24.

On the return journey, 35028 Clan Line will depart Oxford Parkway at 13:45 before heading via Oxford (13:52), Cholsey (14:11), Reading (14:29), Sandhurst (14:58), Shalford (15:25), South Croydon (16:35) and Clapham Junction (17:02) before arriving into London Victoria at 17:45.
