Avanti West Coast has confirmed that flooding has shut the line between Preston and Lancaster.
Due to this flooding, there are no trains running between Preston and Scotland.
This disruption will last until further notice.
Avanti West Coast trains that are disrupted would have called at Lancaster, Oxenholme Lake District, Carlisle, Lockerbie, Motherwell, Haymarket, Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Central.
TransPennine Express services between Preston and Glasgow Central will also be cancelled by this flooding.

I’m in Preston and nothing is happening just some rain and wind
