Network Rail has announced that work is starting next month at Spalding station, which will make it more accessible for passengers.
The upgrade will see lifts installed at Spalding station to provide step-free access over to platform two. The work also includes putting more lighting on the footbridge and additional CCTV around the station.
There will be no disruption to services whilst the work is carried out. Both platforms will remain open as usual.
There will be a small compound area in the car park to allow the work to be done, which will take up around ten parking spaces.
The project is expected to be completed in June 2020.
