Train operator Greater Anglia is sponsoring this year’s Disability Pride event in Norwich.

Norfolk Disability Pride will take place on Sunday 29 September from 10am to 4pm.

The event is free to attend and aims to celebrate disabled people and the diverse community.

There will be live music and song performances, exhibitions and a range of activities and information provided by scores of stall holders.

The Forum is a 15/20 minute walk from Norwich railway station, or a short bus ride away. There are direct buses from Norwich railway station to the city centre every 10 minutes.

People can benefit from rail fares starting from just £6. People travelling in groups of three or more can save money with Groupsave.

What did the officials say?

Martin Moran, Greater Anglia’s Commercial and Customer Services Director, said:

“We are very pleased to be sponsoring Norfolk Disability Pride this year.

“Pride celebrations are always colourful, well-attended events which help bring the community together. There is no major engineering work on the days Norfolk Disability Pride is due to take place, so it’s a great opportunity for people to leave the car at home and take the train.”
