Train operating company, c2c, has released details of car parking at some of their stations during upcoming engineering works.
From Saturday 20 July to Sunday 4 August 2019, one third of the car park spaces at Upminster Station will be unavailable. This is because during the engineering works, the machinery and supplies will be stored in Upminster car park during the work.
Passengers are warned not leave vehicles parked overnight in Upminster on Friday 19 July into Saturday 20 July as they may be removed. There will be a NCP parking marshall at Upminster throughout this period. Alternative NCP parking can be found here
At Ockendon, Chafford Hundred, Grays, Purfleet and Rainham, trains will be running in an anti-clockwise direction only. This is due to Transport for London work in the Barking and Dagenham Dock area, all journeys on the c2c network from Saturday 20 July to Sunday 4 August 2019 will be impacted.
Rail replacement bus services will run in the opposite direction as detailed below:
Upminster car park will be impacted, losing one third of its car park spaces for the duration. If you usually park at Ockendon, Chafford Hundred, Grays, Purfleet or Rainham, do not drive to Upminster station as you will be turned away.Â
Car park spaces at all other stations remain unchanged, although you may wish to allow a little extra time due to the buses coming in or near the stations.

If the car park was to be used for rail replacement buses. Where is another car park for commuters to park their vehicles and to walk to the station to get the replacement bus.
