The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway have announced that booking for steam locomotive 45596 Bahamas first tour since overhaul completion is now open.
The Jubilee locomotive will be hauling the tour from Oxenhope to Carlisle and back again on the 9th February 2019.
Departure from Oxenhope will be around 8:15 am, and the return will be around 8 pm. However, final timings for the tour will be announced nearer the time as they are confirmed.
The Bahamas will be hauling a tour for the first time since 1997, this has been made possible following an overhaul costing £1 million.
The overhaul has been supported by a £776,000 Heritage Lottery Fund grant, which has included the development of an educational program, and the recently opened Learning Coach which is based at Ingrow West.
At the time of writing, there are just 271 seats available on the tour, so space is limited. Make sure you book your seats to avoid disappointment.
Joining at Oxenhope, Haworth, Keighley or Skipton, tickets will cost you just £79 per person in standard class.
Want to make it a special day out? Why not upgrade to luxury and book yourself a first-class seat at £265.
