Northern has announced that some lines are blocked after a train has derailed just outside Sheffield station.
Disruption is currently expected to last until at least 12 pm on the 9th October 2018. Staff are currently on route to try and resolve the issue.
East Midlands Trains, CrossCountry, Northern and TransPennine Express are all currently experiencing delays, so please check before travelling.
We do not know have any confirmation about the derailment, how it happened etc. However according to the below tweet, there was no one on board:
